Where it fits
Where it fits
A laptop lid, a toolbox, a rear window corner or a gear case. Any hard, smooth surface takes a decal: glass, paint, metal, hard plastic. Read how to apply a vinyl decal before it goes on.
How it goes on
How it goes on
- Wash the spot with soapy water, dry it, then wipe it with rubbing alcohol.
- Tape the decal across its middle, step back and check it sits level.
- Peel one half of the backing, press from the tape outward with a card, then do the other half.
- Peel the top sheet back on itself, slowly and close to the surface.
About this design
A hunched vulture with wings raised

Seen from the side, a vulture stoops forward with both wings lifted high behind it and its small hooked head hanging low at the front. The wing edge breaks into a few blunt feather tips, and the legs end in long gripping toes. It is all one solid silhouette with no interior lines, which makes the hunched outline easy to read from far down the road.
Camera people who shoot birds, here is a mark for your hard case. If you have watched these birds circle a back pasture, you know the hunched posture. A single solid shape like this goes on quickly and lines up without fuss.

Keep any decal off the windshield. On the rear window, California, Texas and Florida tie a decal to outside mirrors on both sides, New York bars stickers its DMV commissioner has not authorized, and your own state may differ, so read its vehicle code.
