Where it fits
Where it fits
Along the bottom of a rear window, a bumper, a tailgate or the top of a cargo door. Any hard, smooth surface takes a decal: glass, paint, metal, hard plastic. Read how to apply a vinyl decal before it goes on.
How it goes on
How it goes on
- Wash the spot with soapy water, dry it, then wipe it with rubbing alcohol.
- Tape the decal across its middle, step back and check it sits level.
- Peel one half of the backing, press from the tape outward with a card, then do the other half.
- Peel the top sheet back on itself, slowly and close to the surface.
About this design
Four bold words stacked on two lines

The words "I Love My Dad" are set in heavy block capitals and stacked on two lines, each letter wide and squared off, with tight round counters in the O and the two Ds. Nothing here is thin. From across a parking lot the phrase reads at a glance.
Kids, here is an easy pick for a father's truck: put the two short lines in the middle of the tailgate. Dads can buy it for their own truck too, no shame in that. Only the letters are vinyl, so the paint shows through the gaps.

Before it goes on glass
Keep any decal off the windshield. On the rear window, California, Texas and Florida tie a decal to outside mirrors on both sides, New York bars stickers its DMV commissioner has not authorized, and your own state may differ, so read its vehicle code.
