How it goes on
- Wash the spot with soapy water, dry it, then wipe it with rubbing alcohol.
- Tape the decal across its middle, step back and check it sits level.
- Peel one half of the backing, press from the tape outward with a card, then do the other half.
- Peel the top sheet back on itself, slowly and close to the surface.
About this design
A strutting tom beside the words
At the right a wild turkey struts with its tail fanned in a full arc, its beard hanging from the chest and the wing feathers drawn as rows of thin stripes. Most of the bird is line work. "Gobbler Getter" stands to the left in two lines of chunky, notched letters. Up close the fan and wing detail show, while from farther off the words carry the design.
Spring means calling toms at first light, and a blind bag goes on every hunt. Give it the turkey across the front flap, words to the left, fan to the right. On a truck, the top corner of a side window works as well, with the open fan letting the glass show through.
